Your footage stays on your computer

Remove Silence, Rhythm and Captions process your audio on your own computer. We never receive your video, audio or project files.

Storyteller is the one exception to "nothing leaves your computer": to plan an edit it sends the text of your transcript, through our server, to an AI provider (Anthropic). No audio or video is sent. We don't store the transcript after the request is answered, and it is not used to train AI models.

What we collect

• Your email address — to issue your trial or licence and to email you your licence key.
• A one-way hash of your computer's ID and an optional name for it — to enforce the number of computers your plan allows. We never see the raw ID.
• The plugin version, reported when the licence is checked.
• Standard server logs (IP address, time of request) created by any request to this website or the licence service.

Who processes it

• Paddle — our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle runs the checkout, billing and tax, and handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. We never see your card details.
• Supabase — stores licence data, in the EU (Frankfurt).
• Vercel — hosts this website and the licence service, in the EU (Frankfurt).
• Brevo — sends the email with your licence key. We don't send marketing email.
• Anthropic — the AI provider behind Storyteller; receives transcript text only, as described above.
• Hugging Face — the first time you use Captions, the plugin downloads the speech model from Hugging Face, which sees your IP address.

We don't sell your data, and this website uses no tracking or advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

While your licence is active, and afterwards only as long as we need it for support, accounting and legal obligations.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time, including your rights under the GDPR and Türkiye's KVKK. Email ackibar@gmail.com.
